We are delighted to be offering for sale this original 928 S4 which has benefited from a full engine rebuild, carried out by ourselves here at Pie Performance in 2016. The car has covered less than 1000 miles since the engine rebuild.
The 928 has the distinction of being Porsche’s only coupe powered by a front mounted V8 engine, and Porsche’s first production V8 powered model. These fabulous sports cars were unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 1977 and voted Car of the Year for 1978. The 928’s stylish hatchback body features aluminium doors, bonnet and front wings in the interest of weight saving.
Affordable 928 S4 models are harder to find. This example has a mileage history of 140,000 and its highly original condition is a testament to the care that it has been afforded over the years. Full service history and work file provided.
