PIE Performance Tuning (PPT) has built a range of ignition systems for your Porsche 911. Our systems take the ignition and fuelling management of your car into the digital age with greater control. The kits give many driving benefits, better/smoother power delivery, better throttle response, eliminating lots of the low-down idle problems and delivering more torque and BHP. 
 
Fundamentally each system is plug and play. Completely inobtrusive and reversable back to stock if required. We advise professional installation but can provide installation instructions if you wish to install yourself. There is a network of approved tuners through the UK and into Europe.

PPT Porsche 911 1970 - 1989 trigger wheel and pulley with mounting bracket V2 

PPT Porsche 911 1970 - 1989 trigger wheel and pulley with mounting bracket for crank sensor (crank sensor not pictured but included in price). This trigger wheel is 36 - 1 teeth count. Will bolt straight on to your crank and the mounting bracket uses the bolt on the engine cradle. This is our second generation (V2) and has many improvements.

Our pre-73 kit is proof that we are constantly testing and refining our PPT Ignition systems. Now in its third generation of development and testing, the new kit will be an improvement on the last with updated components and more control heeding better results and more efficient delivery of that extra power.

PIE Performance Tuning Porsche 964 ECU/Ignition system conversion kit 

PIE Performance Tuning (PPT) has built a modern update to the 964 (911) ignition system. This system takes the management of the car into the digital age and allows greater control over ignition and fuelling. The kit will replace your restrictive old fashioned air flow meter (barn door) with a modern map sensor managed by intake pressures. 
 
The kit is delivered ready to use with a PPT ignition map. We have maps for 3.6 and 3.8 conversions, and either can be pre-installed for you. 
 
Our latest kit now comes with an upgraded ECU and can run a wide band sensor (oxygen sensor). All of our kits have this capability but the sensor needs to be ordered separately. 
 
While developing the upgraded ECU we also changed our intake pipe; this now works with the factory airbox, gives a stock appearance in the engine bay and houses the map sensor and air temp sensor out of sight.

PIE Performance Tuning (PPT) has built a modern update to the 911 3.2 ignition system. This system takes the management of the car into the digital age and allows greater control over ignition and fuelling. The kit will replace your restrictive old fashioned air flow meter (barn door) with a modern map sensor managed by intake pressures. 
 
The kit gives many driving benefits, better/smoother power delivery, better throttle response, eliminates lots of the low-down idle problems as it now uses a throttle position sensor and delivers more torque and BHP.  
 
The kit is delivered ready to use with a PPT ignition map for the 3.2 standard engine management; however, the kit can be mapped for different cams and engine capacity increase. 
 
Our latest kit now comes with an upgraded ECU and can run a wide band sensor (oxygen sensor). All of our kits include this capability but the sensor needs to be ordered separately.
