Porsche 911 RS Tribute
This stunning 911 RS Recreation started life as a 1978 gold 3.0 SC and in 2007 underwent a complete bare shell build with no expense spared from a rust-free UK car by Independent Porsche specialist Pro 9. The detail and time put into this car amounts to over 250 hours of work to produce an identical replica.

The detail is in things like a correct slam panel and twin battery boxes, many other RS recreations would not go to the time or expense of such detail.
This stunning car was described by GT Porsche magazine as “the ultimate tribute”, they went on to say “backdating Porsche 911’s to make them look like older models – in particular RS’s – is proving as popular as ever, but this recreation sets the benchmark.
This 911 RS has been built to be enjoyed and driven on our roads. However, the suspension and braking is very comfortable and would surprise the best of people on the track. The fully rebuilt engine has been designed to give pleasure but when the power is required it’s on tap producing around 190bhp.
This striking car and the attention to detail from Pro 9 Porsche has earned them great praise in the Porsche world and seen them build several Recreations which are considered some of the best around. This particular vehicle is Pro 9’s best work.
